Range finder suggestions?

I need to get my granddaughter a range finder for use in 3-D shoots. Any suggestions for a decent one around $150 or so?

They are allowed? I use to partake in CBG shoots in social circle and they weren't allowed, only non range finding optics. I use the most basic bushnell w angle compensation, Seems to be a good compromise between price/quality. It's not good if you plan to use it for long range rifle though.
