That is true. My grandfather on my moms side was a moonshine runner and had guns laying all over his house. He lived in the mountains and they were hillbillies to the core. My mom drilled me in firearm safety when I was old enough to listen. We went over to his house all the time and the rule was don't touch the guns. I reached for one just one time SMACK! guess what? I damn sure didn't touch the guns again. EVER! Until I got my own or my dad took me out to shoot his.
