Pocket guns: .380 vs. 9mm

With the rise of all the micro-size 9 mm guns out now, are the .380's still popular? Who is still dailying a .380? Anybody changed from .380 to a micro 9? What makes/models are your go-to pocket guns?

*Full transparency, I still deep conceal carry a Ruger LCP with laser more than any of my other guns. Not found a 9 quite that concealable.

An LCP type of pistol is the best I've found for deep concealment. 9mm's are almost as small, but the big difference is the .380s are half the weight. This really matters in a pocket.

Yeah, I didn't even put the weight in the conversation, but that is huge.

I always pack my LCP in my pocket. But if I could get a 9mm in the same size package, I'd switch. Also, voted for tacos!

My LCP is in my edc line-up. Carry almost every day.

Ruger LCP II 380 11.2 oz, Ruger EC9S 17.2. That's 6oz difference. Of course those are unloaded weights.

You can’t beat an LCP MAX for pocket carry IMO, 13 rds in a package that’s roughly the size of my cell phone. I liked mine so much I went out and got it a twin. I’ve messed around with 365’s and other micro’s but they just don’t come close to being as easy to slip in my pocket as the LCP Max. It just one of those guns you can forget is there but still has ample firepower if ever needed. Not saying the original LCP won’t get the job done I just hate the trigger on the original.
