I have gotten guns you could eat off...and some that were soooo filthy my hands got coated looking at it. As long as it cleans up...whatever. One dude, at the meet said: "sorry it is so dirty, I had to go shoot it one last time." LOL, he didn't want to clean it one last time!

Before you sell it.

Bronze brush the barrel with a little cleaner (maybe) and run a bore snake with a little oil on it and you're good to go. Revolvers are the hardest because you have to deal with the deposits on the forcing cone face and surrounding area and the mating cylinder face
