It's really easy. Make an agreement with your pet. You won't eat his food and he won't eat yours.

Exactly. Don't want to promote that habit

Thor eats trash and sticks in the backyard yard. Just eats any stick that will crumble into small enough peices. Table scraps are the least of my worries.

I have that do that.
Also, they like to eat (or at least chew) hickory nuts,

My only problem is my dogs lie all the time. They will tell me they agree to that kind of stuff , then……

Yeah, mine are lying most of the time.

When we had miniature dachshunds they’d root around in the litter box and eat cat ****.

She did that when there was a cat inside.

She will hunt for deer & rabbit poop in the yard

Next time you feed your dog those horrible little brown nuggets that you think they are supposed to eat because it says Dog Food on the bag, pop one in your moth and give it a chew. Ive done it.. they are so disgusting. My dog will be eating turkey and gravy with mashed potato's and all the other fixins mixed together in a Melange, thats French for a delicious pile of good food all mixed up. My 16.5 yo dog just left us last week.. she ate what we ate most of her life.. if you love your animals you will feed them real food....Happy Thanksgiving...

I think they are highly susceptible to lead poisoning, from what I’ve heard.

So are any alligators I come across.

Been, there in 2007 , I gave my wife's Cavalier a Turkey bone with meat on it, that poor dog had diarrhea for days, had to take her to the vet, for an IV. My kids still talk about every Thanksgiving.

My daughter is about to open a bakery for dogs and cats called Tail Wag Barkery .
she will have all pet friendly items. When she gets it going I will have a lot more info.
