People! Stop buying ammo!

I'm so, so tired of people using that term markedly incorrectly. It is by definition impossible to gouge on ammunition. For a place with so many self styled chest thumping alphas, the socialistic beta cuck sure comes to surface awfully quick in times of crisis.
Really? So you think a suggestion to use the free market and reduce cost by reducing demand is socialism?

Except I'm not buying ammo because I am prepared. That doesn't make the current prices any less ridiculous. It's price gouging pure and simple.

I thought you were a conservative yet here you are using a Marxist made up word. “Gouging “. It’s a cute word. It means someone has something I want, and they won’t give/sell it to me for what I think is fair.

The op is right actually. The only reason there is a shortage is because all incoming ammo is being bought up and flipped. Its still being produced and shipped out in the normal quantities. As much as it pains me to say, its not even the scummy flippers who are at fault. Its the consumers who are paying for 1$ a round of 9mm. I haven't purchased a single round of ammo since this began and if we were to all just chill the hell out for a few months and let these flippers hold on to all that ammo that won't sell we would have supply catch back up to demand. I will not spend a single dime on these over priced garbage people. If Shtf and people start acting crazy I have 50rds of 9mm I can use to get more of off anyone that threatens me and mine. More ammo doesn't insure survival. If it did our soldiers would carry alot more of it.

Flippers are the effect, not the cause.

No, I don't. Neither do I think people selling 5.56 for $1 per round are "gouging."
Then what's with saying this thread is about a socialist ideal? And just because...

price gouging
[ prahys-gou-jing ]
noun
an act or instance of charging customers too high a price for goods or services, especially when demand is high and supplies are limited:

^^^^That is exactly what's going on.
