It does have a place for a lock. The biggest complaint with these things, is theft. You can't leave them in the back of your truck.

Warranty, Yeti is 5 years, Pelican is lifetime.
Country of manufacture, Yetis is overseas, Pelican is made in the USA
Handles, Yeti has rope handles, Pelican has rotating heavy duty handles
Locks, Yeti has rubber latches, Pelican has a sturdier lock system
Pelican has anti skid feet, Thicker walls, freezer seal, and Pelican make gun cases, which make them "cooler".
