Why are you drying them? We have always taken them straight from the field, pull from vine, drop in a pot of salty water and let them boil, and sample them until they are soft and salty enough.Anyone have a boiled and / or roasted peanuts recipe? When will they be done? I'll bring napkins.I add water salt to taste and piece of fat meat or ham hock to mine and cook about 3 hours or till soft on stove. Have beef getting already shelled fresh peanuts and cooking them same way and they are just as good and no shells to deal with!
