Thanks for the information. I may have to come down that way this year especially for the Youth hunt in October. See if I can't at least put my daughter on some deer.

I went down Hulseytown road scouting for turkeys this year and found a lot of deer sign.
White Oak acorns will be dropping about the time the youth hunt comes in. Shouldn’t be hard to find some.
I figured that, that’s why I’m gonna try it during bow season
The first, general rifle hunt is usually a 4-day hunt, Thursday through Sunday. Thursday and Friday are buck only, but usually are the best days to avoid the crowds before the last two days, when does can be shot too.
Yes. I was going to add that, but didnt want to type that much. I avoid Paulding Forest altogether. There are just better places to hunt in my opinion, but I've seen a couple nice bucks taken off there the last few years.

Thursday and Friday are waaaaay safer, but you are spot on and will see exactly that on Saturday and Sunday.
You guys seeing all this orange are hunting too close to a road. There is a lot of Paulding Forest that is never hunted. If you ain`t lazy you can get away from other hunters.
