On This Day April 19, 1775... 244 years ago.

Growing up just outside Boston, "Patriot's Day" was always a big deal.

Monday was always the official state holiday, and when they would run the Boston Marathon, but the weekend always had large parades in Lexington and Concord.

It sounds like they still do reenactments on Lexington green, but I can't imagine they use actual gunpowder or anything, and I'm sure it's open to 'alternate viewpoints'

It's sad the state that started the Revolution has come to the point it has...

We've come full circle.

Patriots Day will remind the Lib'tard Socialist/DIMocRATS of indentured workers (slaves) during the Revolutionary Era.
It will be replaced by Snowflakes Day and Meltdown Weakend.

I'm afraid it will go the way of Columbus Day in New England, and as far as I know that's the only place Patriots Day was ever a holiday.

You will know New England is finished when they move the Minuteman statue off Lexington Green and dump it in a dimly lit corner of some random park because it's both 'culturally inappropriate' and it encourages gun violence.

They are not quite there yet... but it's darn close from what I hear.
