Well maybe the new e file will improve the wait times ! Sarcasm intended ! Any one heard anything on the wait time for the e file yet ?

I have to read up and figuire it all out. I’m 71 and suck at tech , so it will be an adventure !
From what I can see the rollout of Eform 4's was a cluster****, as anyone who knows the ATF should have expected. However I still think the wait times on em will be shorter.
1. It's easy to beat the nine to twelve months we're seeing with form 4's
2. Apparently the main bottleneck has been that most ATF examiners are working from home and have to physically bring stacks of form 4's home to process. If nothing else eforms will streamline that aspect of it.

Only way to know your form status is calling the ATF, dealer just knows when the stamp arrives.
