Yeah, wish I had been more involved in politics at a younger age. Maybe things would be different, maybe they wouldn't. Like most folks it was something that just happened along the way. Always voted in presidential elections. Missed too many of the mid-term ones. Shame on me. Too busy being a single young man with other things on his mind.

And that's probably exactly what the politicians wanted.
