I have a co-worker that got a "deal" on the XD and had to send in a coupon to get the gear. I think it was a special Adventure Outdoors was running. It took them 3 months to send him the holster, mag carriers and 1 extra mag. He got 2 mags with the gun.

I agree though, all those things cost money so if their gonna stop putting the gear in there and give a junky box then they should knock off about $50 at least on the price.

That's why I have more than one. Lol. Of course I don't keep rifle or shotgun boxes in there just the handguns. Otherwise I'm having to hunt for the mags and other accessories all the time.

i use all the stuff that came with mine some of the time. i actually like the mag holders, just wish they used tec lock attachment.

i like the pic rail loader attachment. always have mag loader handy.

I just picked up a nice XDm 40 with Trijicon ns, my 2nd one, at real good deal today but it didn't have a case or gear. I love the XD lines

Maybe they repackaged as a way not to increase the price.

So I sent an e-mail to Springfield and here is a copy of their response.
