I've notice quite the uptick in scam texts/emails I receive on a daily basis over the past two years. I don't know how many times I have been rewarded by AT&T for paying my bill or how many times my Apple ID was to be shut off in the past two years if I didn't respond immediately to correct the billing issue.

I guess the equation is simply: Law of Large Numbers + Humans Can Be Stupid + Elderly/Non-Tech Savvy = A Sucker Born Every Day

I get those " You've won " scam emails all the time. I hate having to delete 20 out 24 emails.

I get calls up here from India or somewhere in that region. They come right out and ask for your social security number and get angry when you don't give it to them. I like screwing with them and pissing them off. I can't recall what agency each say they are with. I will say you tell me you should have that info. Some of them get steaming mad. I get a kick out of that.
