That seems to be a little overkill. But the more interesting issue in the picture is the tires on the trailer.
Looks like the cap has separated and is about to come off.

That wheel might need a few extra lead balancing weights now. And you gotta love the orange paint as a reminder to cut before unloading.

But has bountiful undercut, cold lap, lack of fusion at toe of weld and between beads, it probably be less strong than the orange strap.
