New Savage Stealth 10BA, move over again Ruger

IMO for target/steel shooting 6.5 all the way, better downrange ballistics. For example a 308 168 with a muzzle velocity of 2680 at 1000 yards and a 5 mph 9oclock wind would need 11.3 mils of elevation and 1.6 mils of wind. a 6.5 with 130 berger Hybrid going 2900 fps would need 7.4 elevation and .9 mils of wind.

Agreed. The only reason I even keep a .308 rifle around is so I can use agency ammo when I get the chance.

true, plus by julien date my birthday is 308, I haven't shot my first custom 308 rifle in several years now since I have been shooting the 6.5 creedmoor. and now that I have switched to the 6mm creedmoor who knows

You must be a big time PRS shooter to move into 6mm Creedmoor. What chassis and barreled action are you running?

Running a Bergara(Stiller) barreled action with a PDC customs on my primary rifle and a Remington/Bergara barrel / Mega Orias on my backup. just switched last week when my primary shot out down at CORE but so far I am liking the change.
