You're gonna love the light recoil and laser beam trajectory of your new rifle. Nice choice for the glass too. I don't think most guys that are scope shopping have even looked through a Sightron but they make some really good glass.I would recommend using some type of scope cover/lens cover when breaking it in and for cleaning. Just one drop of bore solvent or oil can really mess up scope lens coatings. (yeah I learned the hard way) I too am one of those guys that believes in the break in ritual. Heck you only get one chance at it and it certainly wont hurt anything on a factory barrel.
I really don't think hitting a tide box is gonna be a problem.
