New camera and a few Glocks

I had the new Nikon D5000 out with a 34 and a 17 today. Took a few quick pics and had to cut it short, but I am really liking this camera.

Man, I've always wanted a decent camera! One day I will save up and buy one! Pictures of guns are almost as good as pictures of women!

Check out the Glock 26 I listed today. It was taken with a D700 and a 50mm Nikor lens.

Nice choice on the D5000- now you need a 35mm 1.8 lens to make the background fuzzy and an SB600 flash to fill those shadows- DSLR's are as addicting as guns and as or more expensive also- Seriously look at the 35mm 1.8 lens though- It is on my D7000 90% of the time.

Best buy had it on sale a few weeks back for $650. They had a really good deal on the D3000 as well. I bought it for a trip to Colorado and have been playing a little with it since.

I'll check out the lens and I know I need the flash. The pictures were taken at about 5:30 in the afternoon on my back stoop, so it's all natural light.

I know on addicting.. I'm out of gun money for a while paying for this.
