Need help with a lawnmower engine.

I'm trying to find out what it would cost to replace broken rings on a 15 Hp OHV Briggs engine. I'm weighing if it's worth fooling with or if I should just buy another mower. This is my backup mower so I'm not really interested in spending a small fortune on this thing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mower parts are not cheap, try a mower repair shop to see if they have any mowers that were left to be fixed and not been picked
yet, and see how that goes..

Lots of mower / small engine shops have motors that they have pulled off of old mowers and sell too. One may have a good engine you need.
