i have one too. Bought it with a BBR 120cc kit already installed. Runs great. Has enough oomph to haul my near 200lb butt around.i got a honda xr100 here a couple months ago for 900 it runs out like a champ for a 19yr old bike. Seriously man parts are cheap & we will probably run it 4 more years. All i have ever had is hondas & a few ktm’s.
You should be able to find some good youtube videos of the ttr’s i have used a lot of videos thru the years to do my own repairs. Good luck with it & hopefully he gets back on the seat soon!
That should fix it. Sounds like your intake valve seal is trashed and just sucking in oil.That’s what I’m going to end up doing. I ordered new valves and should be here next week. Got new seals and stems also
