My church is having a Fall Festival a week from tomorrow [10/29] and I signed up to handle the hayride. I have all covered except hay bales. I have a 5x8 pull behind trailer and am just looking for some basic old school hay bales to place along both lengths and the front. Depending upon length, I figure 6 to 8 should do nicely. I went online for HD, Lowes and Tractor Supply but did not find what I am looking for. My plan would be to pick them up then head direct to the church. I am off I-575 near Woodstock and the church is on Canton Road between Hawkins Store and Shallowford Road. Any thoughts on what type store might stock bales like I need ? Thanks.

I believe strapped rectangular or square bales would be more suitable for this particular purpose, but I appreciate the reply.

OK. It now appears that HD in Woodstock does indeed have what I need. I guess right hand did not know what left hand knew. Anyway. That is close and I will handle. Thanks for all of the replies.
