**Need Action Trued**

A close friend gave me a mauser 93 action a few weeks ago for parts. Now I have decided What I want to do with it. But the problem I am having with it is I tried to put a 93 bolt in it and it wont fit. My buddy said he thinks he might have bent the receiver trying to take off the old shot out barrel. So I need help from someone to try and help me true the action back... I dont trust any smiths around my area so that is why I am asking. Any advice on who could help me with this would be greatly appreciated... Prices to do it.. or would it be cheaper to find another action? ThaNKS in advance JOSH..

You don't need it trued, you need a new receiver. Bending and twisting heat treated metal does bad things to the structural integrity of the receiver.

Let me know it you run across a receiver cheap... I used to be able to get my hands on as many as i wanted. But my source has dried up..
