Need a scope that wont break the bank

The last scope I bought was one called SightMark. I had never heard of them before and am pleased with the quality I got for the price I paid. I got a 8.5-25X50, illuminated reticle scope for $217 from OpticsPlanit. They might have 3-9 or 4-12 scopes at aa good price.

didn't I see that leupold had a $50 rebate on the VX1.... that would make a 3x9x40 VX1 $150 can't beat that.

Hey folks - last year I got a Remington 770 .30-06 in a trade. I need a better scope for it. Whats your recommendations. Hunting in North Georgia so 100 yards max is the shot I'll have.

Burris 30mm tube models are excellent. Good price point, incredible optics and accuracy with a variety of reticles. Check out their web site for all the different models.

I have a Burris Fullfield E1 on more than a few hunting rifles and love them. With the 30mm tube, you can stay with a 40mm objective so you can mount it lower and still have the light transmission of a 50mm scope.

For a 100 yard rifle? No need for that level of magnification.

A good 3-9X or even a 2-7X will do you just fine. A Vortex Copperhead or Crossfire will be just fine for you.
