I picked up a 12MP "Apeman" from Amazon to see what was chewing on a wall for $60 shipped. It's still out there and has held up fine since November without a battery change.

I have to get one here at the new house,Had a bobcat out back 3 weeks ago and neighbor got a bear pic.Plenty of deer and heard coyotes one night.

they're pretty decent. I bought one at Wal-Mart back at the opening of last bow season. Battery life is pretty good but not as good as advertised. Takes good day and night pictures. I did have it get knocked over by something (it was on a stand) stayed face down a whole week through rain, the screen and lens showed signs of condensation but after a hour in the sun it cleared up.
This guy was a regular for a while, but not the culprit. For reference it looks like the mode I'm running it in is 8MP.
