But not 70 feet up a poplar tree in Gwinnett County.Their are a butload of Elk at the GA/NC border.
LigmaHenweigh. No doubt about it…
Could have been cumala harris getting it on.Somewhere near the top of an old growth poplar tree about 70 feet high, presumably a bird of some sort, but sounded exactly like an elk call, and almost as loud. I have already googled, it was not a loon. What bird (presumably) would make this sound? I have spent plenty of time outdoors in GA and never heard this sound before except for episodes of Meat Eater where they call elk. An elk call is the closest thing I can compare it to.
Any ideas?
