I see a few fields burned off but never seen a cloud like the one in the video from it.

What would make the bright yellow glow in the center of the upper part but not the stack of smoke from the
ground up?

It has to be a very large field to cause enough convection to go high enough. As for the colors it could be the sun reflecting off the clouds. The dark part is under the cloud being blocked from the sun I would guess. That's why the bottom of very deep clouds are dark if the sun is in the right direction.
