My Mosin Nagant 91/30 Cheat and Clean....

This is so easy....

Take a bottle of Windex.

Spray down the bore.

Snake Bore.

Spray WD40 down bore.

Let it drip out all the fouling and excess Windex.

Snake it.

Run 2 patches of your fav gun oil/lube down bore.

Oil Bolt. Wipe off excess.

Reassemble.

Put rifle away.

I always carry Windex with me on the shoot and do a quick barrel soaking before I leave the range

I did this to my PU Sniper.

Took maybe 10 minutes. Bore is AMAZING.


(When I got it I could hardly see down the bore. Now she is amazing.

Kinda like a total makeover. )

Ammonia free windex.

Water works just as well as windex from my experience.

Another thing you can do is use an electric kettle/boiling water like they did in the old days.

Just have to wash out the corrosive primer salts and hot water helps it dry quicker.

We used to put our stripped M-14's under VERY hot water and clean them that way first.

I use boiling water on my Black Powder Rifle Barrel works so fast it's amazing. Then Oil and reassemble. Done. SO easy.
