Mushroom hunting (Wild Mushrooms)

I always compared it to apricot but could see cantaloupe. Those are golden chanterelles. Delicious sautéed in a tablespoon of olive oil with a butter pat and salt, pepper.

The ones from the post you quoted were? Those were growing in clusters and smelled like mushrooms instead of fruity so I wasn't sure. No true gills though.
