I shoot close quarters like I'm shooting a bow and arrow anyways. Optics in CQB are a PITA. Sure 50 yards plus optics why not. I'm just weird and old school fuddish maybe.
Bow and arrow?
Looking over the top of the sights or tilting at a 45 degree angle and using the line of the barrel to aim. It allows you to have both eyes unobstructed.

You can for sure. That is why it came into play that style of shooting. This is my MP5 clone MKE.
I like to keep it clean. Just a different train of thought.

Certainly don't think that they are anywhere near the best option, but I'll take it over a lot of the trash you see on rifles. Then again, I only have one MRO, and it was mfg last year. Most everything I have with an RDO has an Aimpoint or Eotech.
