I'm on the fence whether this was a good movie or not. There was plenty of character development but I wasn't a huge fan of the "from the perspective of the press" direction. I think most people would rather see a story build for a movie like this rather than 4 main characters. There was no build up to explain why this civil war began, they took a neutral "California and Texas have teamed up" (couldn't be more opposite of today), to create the Western Forces and that was it. In my opinion, it would have been ideal to see how each side hit their tipping point and how the western forces came together and obtained the military equipment. The movie was basically about how press is willing to eat themselves to get the perfect shot/story.

What did you think?
