I am stoked, I new there was a bigger buck using this area. I killed him on the 24th at 9:45am. He was alone but was swelled up with dark hocks. I caught him returning to his bedding area in a thick creek bottom covered in laurel. My taxidermist aged him at 8.5 years old. His teeth were almost to the gums. He was still in great shape though. I wasn't as lucky on this one, I had to drag it UP

a ridge.
