I bought this shot gun 4 years ago for $189 new. I have had it completely submerged under water, caked in mud and it has never been cleaned. The shotgun had seen more than 5000 rounds through it. I have never experienced a malfunction with this firearm minus the time a shell froze over and the firing pin couldn't break the ice and hit the primer. Shotgun still cycled said frozen round.
This 12 ga has passed all expectations I've had for it and at this point I'm just trying to see how long it can go with such poor care on my part. I used it for duck hunting and sport shooting but now only use it for home defense (so I hope it doesn't see much more action)
Quality is exceptional for price of this shotgun even though it is the economy version of the 500.
