Mossberg 500 .410

A friend has a mossberg 500 that will not eject shells after being fired or just loaded. Any ideas as to why it won't. He bought it new years ago and he said it has always had this problem from day one. Thanks

do they stay in the chamber? If so, check the extractor.

or do they stovepipe?

Does it pull the shell, fired or unfired, out of the chamber at all, or does it just pull it back where you see it but doesn't send it out the port?
