I have both, the 590 has less recoil imo than the 870 Tactical and holds 8+1 as opposed to the 870 7+1. Nod to the 590 but both are built like tanks and reliable as it gets, I'd trust my life with either one

Well, it's a mariner with extras. I'm sure you can find a regular 590 for sub 400.

If you would take 400 I would think about driving the 3 and a half hours, that's all I'm sayin. It's worth whatever you think it is, I bought one for my father new, I know what retail is for it, thanks for the interest

Cheapest retail I have found in my quick 5 minute search, and Buds is out of stock. Hope you find what your are looking for.
