Looks like Bright Angel Trail. I was there in February of 2016 and there was ice on trail, but not that much.

When I was there in 2013 I was amazed at how many idiots would jump off the trails out onto shakey rock columns to get a selfie of themselves. Sure enough, the day I left someone fell in doing this.

And yet, somehow, these people are even dumber than those were. Definitely future Darwin recipients.

We were there Saturday/Sunday... crampons were needed for sure on the first 500yds of the trail. Plenty of idiots going down without them... we were NOT among them
