Rumble Road Hunting Club Monroe County near Rumble Road and Bolingbroke Exits
This is a new hunting club.
The lease consists of a three hundred acre tract divided into six sections. The club is managed by Michael and Billy Dorn who will be hunting an adjoining tract and any sections that are not leased.
Each member has their own distinct hunting area during the deer hunting seasons. It will not be possible to completely mark all boundaries between areas this season due to the size of the sections and configuration of the roads and boundaries. That said, the general boundaries are fairly clear and each member should have plenty of room in their tract. The six zones are open to all members for turkey season.
Membership includes spouse and any children who are serving in the U.S. military or are still in school (i.e. K-12 or in college). Members can bring up to two other guests at a time and there is no limit on how many times you can bring the same guest.
Each member and their guests can shoot up to a total of three legal bucks per season and there is no limit on does.
Each member and their guests can harvest up to a total of three turkeys per season
All members and guests must abide by all state hunting regulations and timber company land use policies.
Cost is $635 per year and areas are available on a first paid - first choice basis
This tract was not hunted heavily in the 2008/2009 season and was not hunted at all in the 2009/2010 season. Even when the tract was hunted, the trails and roads were not well-maintained significantly limiting access to many good hunting areas. The tract has a mix of heavy pines, hardwoods and swamp bottom near the creek. The front boundary is Rumble Road. The back boundary is a creek and the property opposite the lease is a stalled subdivision. There has been no apparent hunting activity on the back boundary in recent years. There appears to be fairly light hunting pressure on the two remaining sides of the property.
We have spent the Spring and Summer bush hogging the roads and re-cutting old trails to improve access. We are looking for quality members who get along well with others and are polite and respectful hunters.
The attached sketch shows approximate configuration of the sections and boundaries.

NOTE: Please see a few pics of the club and a very rough sketch below.
