Any contractors on here willing to help a fellow trader with that friends and family discount? Selling our home and the inspection found a little “bio growth substance” on a couple floor joists and some water that needs to be removed from the crawl space.

No. The floor is probably 4’ off the ground at the lowest point.

That’s weird then how the water is standing under the house if it’s higher than outside. Is there a leak somewhere?

Looks like the water from the gutter down spout was pooling and seeping through the block. But that’s just a guess. I have to have a sump pump installed at the lowest point of the crawl space and address drainage issues.

Most places want about 10k for this job these days, huge industry out of no where and companies popping up all over.

Always cheaper to do it yourself, several sites sell all the stuff.

Thanks. Got it taken care of for $3,200. Sump pump installed, mold removal including removal and replacing the crawl space insulation. Closed on the house last Friday.
