Since my Remington model Seven in 223 hasn't sold I thought about a rebarrel to a different caliber. So my question is for some of that might know, is a 7 & 700 barrel interchangeable?

I think I figured it out!!! If it dont move then maybe a 17 Remington or Fireball, or 204.
Whats the matter with 223?
My son don't like it and I have my HBAR Elite that drives tacks. Figure get something different.
You like them there hot shot fire breathen' sounds like a cannon kartridges.... then get a 204 Ruger. It was design to feed and function in the 223 platform. Just do the switch-o-change-o of the barrel and your ready to go !!!
I miss my fireball though lol wish I never got rid of it. And when I do see them don't have the cash lol.
yep 700 and Model 7 barrels are the same as far as thread and bolt nose relief so they generally will swap without any issue other than re- head spacing the rifle
