I still don't get it. Are these things really that good? Is the quality insanely high or something? To me, they look like something you'd buy at a gas station. Sorry, but truth.

They are definitely well built. I have two. A work one and a “going out “ one. My they are both about 4 years old. I use my work knife everyday. It’s held up extremely well. I’ve done zero “factory maintenance “
I use an air can to blow it out and a few drops of oil occasionally.

The workmanship (and packaging) are First Class. It should make it real easy to steal a couple of bucks from me in one armload now... Don't worry, a lot are going back in the safe.
