May hit Lake Acworth today...any tips or tricks?

This is a little pocket combo lol. $29.99 at Walmart. Been working it over. Seems to be fine

I am actually going to use this combo next summer when I travel to Vermont, catch all those perch like sand fleas on the beach with it.

I know sometimes you just have to get out and fish, but I have only had luck there in the spring.

I understand. This was last January om Acworth when my son realised he forgot to put the plug in his boat.

I live right on the other side of that playground.

We really like that area. If my wife didn't have to live in Calhoun for her career, we would probably move there. We saw a guy riding his bike to the lake with a kayak on a trailer behind it one time. That would be pretty cool.

Been here 19 years and have been on the water twice.

I am going to put the Kayak in and see how it goes. I know about magic point, Docks, Grasses, Dam, etc...just want to get a decent size one today. I may rig up the old Carolina Jig today and use some live bait as well ( Night crawlers) The only fish I have caught in there are Bluegill and Perch.

How is the fishing there ?

Fishing is fine. I have caught all types of fish in the lake. Bass, bluegill, perch. Hopefully i will add a new fish finder to my kayak and really see the lake better.
