Mauser P38 SVW 45 French production

Happen to stumble upon a Mauser P38 with the SVW 45 markings along with the ️ on right slide and a “g” after the serial number. Tried reading up on these to see if it’s truly rare. Seems it was produced 1945 after the French took control of the factory it that’s all I can figure out. Anyone know much about these?

I have one of these but mine doesn't have the star. Mine has the nazi waffenamps (sp) where your star is. I am in Gainesville. Do you have any interest in selling? I don't know what the star means. Thanks, John

Just found out that the star means french made post ww2. They took over the German factory in France and produced these as they needed weapons.
