man my builds are loving the changeds

I built an ar, and it sweet. The other ar was jealous so they both got to shoot
the ammo was a mixed match box of my reloaded ammo
35 grain vmav 68 grain varmint grenades

the 1st ar iI built and its dpms with 22 inch heavy barrel 1:7 twist
second is a ODT special with dpms barts
the barrel is chrome lined 18 inch carbine barrel

the carbine has Adams arms piston conversion
both preformed grat. the piston was a hands down winner
the ammo was
35 grain vmax

both performed really wild

the two rounds recovered were in 30 lb bag 3 staked and 3 behind

the conversion was a pain in the ass to install

So what kind of groups were getting with the DPMS and what was the range. Were you shooting the 35 grainers through it?

I shot some .223 Remington 55 grain HP's supposed to be for varmints and had a dramatic effect on garden stealing rabbits. It made 3-4 inch holes and they did not suffer....long or at all.

its doing 1/2" groups with 45,55 and 60 grainers at 100rds
don't have any 35's to test them
