about a week and a half ago I took a chance on a auction on gun broker(which I rarely do) for two cans of SL57 marked 30.06, long story short $440 for both cans shipped each with 280 rounds on 35 en blocs complete with cardboard....not too shabby! It's going to be a loud weekend!

Yeah, I've never had any of the St. Louis stuff before. I'm hoping it will run good in the Garands, if not I suppose I can de-clip it and use it in the bolt rifles.

Yep, I grew up with the guy that runs UPS to the house. He is always leaving smart *** notes on my boxes...apparently, if it's over 10lbs he doesn't want to deal with it.
