A buddy asked me this evening if I had a spare carbine to sell? I see for you? He said no his boss. I said sure $1400. He said what is it , I thought a minute and said no I dint have one I would sell that cheaply!

I was kidding @ price but none for sale! Nice score OP

My grandaddy carried a paratrooper m1 carbine in WW2. I always wanted one and the middle of last year i finally got one. I swear its the best shooting rifle I have ever shot. Cant miss under 200 yards. Mines a brand new repop, but the price at the time worked out for me. I will undoubtedly own a wartime m1 carbine one day.

Post a pic. And Rah!

pick up the book US M1 Carbines Wartime Production. By Craig Riesch. Good intel there on these rifles.

This website is a pretty good resource too. The reference materials are great but I don’t post in the discussion forum anymore.....some of the contributors get pretty grumpy and elitist over there
