Lowes does'nt care..they don't hold the warranty and will tell you to goto the manufacturer for repair after the return date has expired.Maybe this. Sounds fixable but surprised Lowes would still sell.

Got one setting in my garage that blows all the oil out when you use it . Tried to return , said no can do . I’ll eventually deal with trying to fix it . I guess a new pump or seal . Took it to a repair place , repair was almost what I paid for it . DO NOT BUY ONE !!!
They are disposable in that price range. I have had good luck with the dewalt and Ryobi electric 2400 psi units for small jobs around the farm, they last about 2 yrs
Says the recall is from the starter cord kicking back when you pull it. Should pull the 14 HP Kohler when the battery is dead!
