I have a set of TFO's on my G27 and the post seems to have some "play" or "wiggle" in jt. The set screw seems to be on pretty tight but, I don't wanna strip it either? Thoughts?

Loose Front Sight

You've definitely got to be careful about snapping the screw. I usually apply some blue loctite to the underside of the front sight, not just the screw. Pay close attention to the stud that interfaces with the hole in the slide and be sure to place a little loctite around it. Once every thing is snugged down, just wipe off any excess.
It should thread on tight, if not perhaps the sight wasn't threaded far enough to seat the set screw?
you need to drink a beer before you touch anything.....
I've also seen some that were machined poorly and the stub didn't fit well in the slide.
