A lot of people seem to forget that some of the smaller shops are pretty cool to work for as well. Could consider calling the guys that make the Stemple Guns and see if they need help. Could also consider Daniel Defense or try to get with a company like PNR Ammo to get your feet wet.
That's how you know if you are a good salesman or not!
Jk. But I'd imagine it'd be a lot easier pushing Glocks than Taurus'.

At Taurus price points, it's actually close to the same I'd bet. Unless we are talking Government contract.

I've been in the industry for quite a while.
My advice:
- Be willing to take a job thats not ideal but gets your foot in the door.
- Don't be afraid to work for a large shop, distributor or rep group to make connections and find where you want to go.
- It's still business, just with fun products.
- Be willing to move for the job you want.
- You can make a lot more money in other industries.

Definitely get into the business. If you like random customers flagging you and saying “it ain’t even loaded” I recommend working at a range for a bit. But once you get into the building of firearms it’s essentially a desk job.
