I have not had good luck finding a decent shoot in a loooooong time.

I tried Kurz a few years back and damn. Saw two birds all day. (Had a shot a zero.)

I eventually left because it was filled full of idiots. Some jackass brought his dog and yelled about 200 times of the course of the day. Every time he yelled, everyone thought there were birds coming from his direction. Nope, just some yelling fool.

I could have tolerated it longer if I had seen a few birds, but there was pretty much nothing going on.

And as for the pay shoot I went on, even worse. Never saw a single bird.

Dove shoots just aren't like they used to be. There is so little agriculture left in middle and north GA that the birds don't really seem to come through anymore. Just driving down the road, I may see a grand total of a down birds on power lines-all season. They just ain't around.

There is a pay shoot in Tallapoosa that I think is $40-$50, usually a fairly decent shoot. I wont be out there this year because we got an invite to a private hunt, I will get their contact info if you are interested.
