Living in Dawsonville

My son and his family live in D-ville...up in the hills behind the Outlet Mall.
He works in Ellenwood
They've been up there over 13 yrs...loves it and considers it worth the 3-4 days commute for him.
Good schools...both my G-daughters are honor students

We just sold our house in dawsonville 3 months ago and moved back to Rome. I loved it up there. The lake, the mountains, gun stores galore. I really wish we could have convinced our family to move up there so we didn’t have to leave.

Love it up here. Halfway between Dawsonville and Gainesville. Lake living at its finest.

You and I have the same idea. Wife and I just took work from home jobs. Moving further north on a nice chunk of unrestricted land.
