Out of safecrackers range... I need help moving a Liberty Franklin series safe up one step, down a short hall, into the bedroom, and finally the closet. Probably 500 pounds. Willing to pay money or trade ammo or a bit of both. Located near Dunwoody Country Club. Two strong guys and a hand truck with a strap could do this.

Do you know of any reasonably priced companies this side of town as well?

500 pounds is easy. A few 2x4s will get you up one step. I would lay it on its side and slide it up the step. If the floor is smooth, slide it on a piece of thick carpet. If it is a carpet floor, I would slide it on plywood or 2x4s. I have move a few for myself. When they get over 750 pounds the difficulty level goes. It is funny it seems easy for two people to lean over and stand up a 500 pound safe but if you move to 800 it is very hard.
Sliding on carpet is very easy to mess up the carpet.
